Happy New Year!!! (bis)

As I wrote a year ago: "It is customary to say 'Happy New Year' to everyone on 1st January, so now it's done (it was quick!), I can go on with my usual silly things I found.

Let's have a look at what will happen this year:"

2009 has been designated as the: Predicted events:
And, sadly, as I wrote a year ago:

"Furthermore, the Iraq war will continue, as well as the War in Afghanistan, the Conflict in Darfur, and also the Israeli-Palestinian conflict."

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Change? We'll see

How not to mention on this day the historical victory of Barack Obama, president-elect of the United States of America. I would have voted for him, had I been an American citizen — which luckily I'm not. It's not up to me to comment on US politics but I think Obama can bring some changes in his country's international image, starting with global warming. As of January he'll be the most important political figure in the world, being the president of a beautiful country inhabited by morons. For the results I refer you to Wikipedia and their very nice entry. Let's watch his speech he gave in Chicago:

The most important victory is that we've got rid of McCain's combover!

W.

On 17 Octover Oliver Stone released W., a film (a biopic, more precisely) about George W. Bush — it sounds great, please watch the trailers!

Little Britain USA

As you may already know I like Little Britain, a Britcom making fun of all social groups in Britain through characters played by Matt Lucas and David Walliams. A spin-off of the series, set this time in the USA, has been made: Little Britain USA. Check out the US trailer:

And the British trailer, featuring Tom Baker's voice:

As we can see, some of our best loved characters return, like Vicky "the Chav" Pollard:

Daffyd Thomas (aka "the only gay in the village"):

Andy and Lou!

"Nah, I bet people piss in it!"
New characters are also introduced, such as Mark and Tom, the gym buddies…

Bing Gordon, a self-important astronaut who "walked on the Moon":

Another absurdist character, Phyllis and Mr. Doggy:

Let's waste a bit of water

(In)famous TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson wants to know if you can make a proper fishtank out of a car:

Hancock

I'm definitely going to see this movie in the upcoming weeks, because I was stunned by the trailer (which you can watch below) and also by the positive critics that I've read. Moreover, the fact that the story is about a fallen superhero who gets drunk appeals me, perhaps because it's satirical and because it's unusual for a superhero, precisely.

Hitler's car

I wanted to show you a very funny scene from this relatively unknown movie called Rat Race, which stars Rowan Atkinson, Whoopi Goldberg, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Jon Lovitz, Seth Green, John Cleese and Wayne Knight, among others. In order to contextualise the video, please read this summary of the Pear family, retrieved on Wikipedia:

Randy Pear (Jon Lovitz) is on a family vacation with his wife, Bev (Kathy Najimy), son, Jason (Brody Smith), and daughter, Kimberly (Jillian Marie Hubert). Desperate to get rich so he doesn't have to work at Home Depot any more, he joins the race without telling Bev or his children why they are rushing from Las Vegas. He instead informs them that he has a job interview in Silver City for filling ink pens. He is so desperate to get there that he does not stop to allow the kids to go to the toilet, having Kimmie excrete out the window, where it hits a police car. The daughter then spots a sign saying "Barbie Museum", and Bev insists that they have to stop and give the kids a break. Randy reluctantly agrees. The barbie museum turns out to not be about the doll, however, and instead a shrine to the Nazi Klaus Barbie run by neo-nazis. The Pear Family, who is Jewish, flees in terror, only to find their car has been sabotaged by the Cody Brothers. So Randy steals nothing less than Adolf Hitler's car from the museum and they drive that.

"Are you insane? This is Hitler's car!"
I found an extended version of the scene, but it's in German. Notice that Mr. Pear curses German cars…

"We have to attend a bookburning…"
Now let's make fun of evil Hitler: someone took one of the scenes from Der Untergang and put fake humorous subtitles on it…

"Everyone that's not a retard leaves the room now" --> LMAO

Uncyclopedia featured articles: one of the leaders of the Axis of Evil-Doers, Adolf Hitler, and Benedict XVI (aka Darth Ratzi, Palpatine's best friend).

Donnie the Entertainer

Let's make fun of ex-US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld:

Here's evidence that Donnie's an expert in martial arts:

Today's Uncyclopedia featured article: Donald Rumsfeld as you could expect.

"Son of dork!"

Problem Child is a film I used to watch a lot when I was a little boy, because it's about an eight-year-old monster that always behaves badly… The film starred the late Jack Warden (as Big Ben Healy) and John Ritter (as Ben Healy). The devilish Junior is played by Michael Oliver. Today I'd like to show you the baseball scene. Enjoy.

I know I've already featured the following scene, but I like it very much:

"Another one rides the bus"

Silly races are part of American culture, I guess…

Not too tired of watching idiotic films? If so, take a look at this:

PS. This entry's title is a direct reference to "Weird Al" Yankovic's parody Another One Rides the Bus (instead of Queen's Another One Bites the Dust).

I'm hungry…

If you're starving, don't watch this!

Never go to McDonald's, because here's what you might find in your meal:

Yummy!

The following video shows you university students of Berlin Technical University making fries in a kind of mechanical manner…

If you ever happen to go to New York, make sure to go to Pommes Frites:

You don't even find such giant cones in Belgium!

And to conclude, let's watch this commercial for Mora which I find hilarious:

Funny home videos

If you're fed up with the huge pile of homework you've got to do, why don't you have a short break and watch the following videos?

I love the last ten seconds!

The most surprising is this is just a small percentage of all domestic accidents that occur, because there's not always someone with a cam recorder!
