Just watch Beaker (i.e. one of the Muppets, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew's scientific assistent) who multiplied himself in order to recreate Beethoven's Ode to Joy ("a choral symphony for four solo voices, chorus, and orchestra", "in the fifth and final movement of his Ninth Symphony", as stated on Wikipedia [because I don't know anything about classical music]) — for Statler and Waldorf's delight, of course.

Coneheads

Here's the trailer of Coneheads, a movie which I like very much but which I haven't had the opportunity to watch for several years. Fortunately, I've got the DVD and I'll watch it in July or August. Till then, I can enjoy the trailer. From the Wikipedia entry (slightly edited):

Coneheads has been said to have made an "accidental" or "unintentional" political statement or social commentary about the nature of the immigrant experience in America, the filmmakers' ostensible intent being merely to entertain.

The film's plot premise: the adventures of the Conehead family — whose ship, as part of an advance scouting mission for an invasion, is shot down by a F-16 fighter-interceptor of the New Jersey Air National Guard, and they try to assimilate into American society and pursue the immigrant's American dream.

The film stars Dan Aykroyd and Jane Curtin as Beldar and Prymaat Clorhone (who later Anglicize their Remulakian surname to "Conehead"), parents of Connie (Michelle Burke), but also Michael McKean (seen in Dream On as Gibby), and supporting actors Sinbad, Phil Hartman, Jon Lovitz, the late Chris Farley, Adam Sandler, Jason Alexander and Alexander's Seinfeld co-star, Michael Richards, makes a cameo appearance.

Unfortunately extracts from the film are scarce on YouTube, so I propose you watch this fine example of rickrolling… (Remember?)

Today I wanted to watch the number 1 promoted video of the day, but I got redirected here… Weird. Let's click on the channel page… WTF?


In fact, you can read on Wikipedia that it is a recent phenomenon on the Internet called "Rickrolling":

Rickroll is an Internet meme involving Rick Astley's music video for his song "Never Gonna Give You Up". In a rickroll, a person provides a link they claim is relevant to the topic at hand which actually takes the user to the Astley video. By May 2007^[1], the practice had become widespread, and it eventually began to receive some coverage in the mainstream media.<sup>[2][3][4]

On April 1, 2008 (April Fools' Day), all YouTube Featured Videos hyperlinked to the Rickroll. The prank began with international YouTube portals before affecting the main site.^[5]

If you go to Uncyclopedia and look for rickrolling, you end up on the "Flogging a dead horse" entry… However, you can learn how to rick roll somebody… You can also read the brilliant list of the 100 worst April Fools jokes ever… And something that has to be highlighted:</sup>

One of the other odd things about April Fools' Day is that it is the only time of year when Uncyclopedia users are allowed to write something actually true, and the Uncyclopedia Main Page looks much like the Main Page of arch nemesis Wikipedia. Sadly, these articles are usually regarded as nonsense the next day and are reverted or otherwise removed, the bunch of arrogant bastards.
