Michel Daerden is said to be — thanks to his alcoholic-stained words on the evening after the city elections — one of the most famous Belgians abroad. (Even in Flanders.) Well, I had in my archives two videos that weren't on YouTube!
In fact, two years ago, there was a programme called La Télé infernale (LTI), a low-budget show about nothing, presented by Jacques Mercier and Virginie Svensson, plus his "gang" of non-professional comedians, among which Raoul Reyers, Pierre Kroll, Miam Monster Miam, Juan d'Oultremont, Laurence Bibot, Jean-Luc-Fonck, Frédéric Jannin, Sergio Honorez, Aurélia Dejond, etc. Basically the same team as for the radio programme Le Jeu des dictionnaires and La Semaine infernale. The programme had been broadcast during 18 month before the channel decided to put an end to it. I liked it very much, but most of the people that watched it just did it in order to criticize it. (Nerds.) Anyway, I think it's better off. If it had last too long, it would have ended up worse. But it's not my point in this blog entry.
What I wanted to show you today is a extract from the show, in which Pierre Kroll comments on the "Concours d'imitateurs de Michel Daerden" (Michel Daerden Impersonators Contest) that was organized in Liège. (I filmed that thing thanks to my camera, hence the poor quality. Sorry.)
And there's a second part: the minister himself comes to the set of La Télé infernale!!
Ah! The authentic wallon de Liège-accent!!! (My mother tongue!) ;p
Just one more, also coming from the same LTI issue:
(He says: Et je le vois encore… mett' sa tête dans l'mirwaar en disant : "(Mumbling) C'est des dégoûtants, y'avait que des dégueulasses !". It doesn't mean anything. Alcohol is talking.)
