If I had any skills for dancing, I would learn this dance!
We danced the Mamushka at Waterloo. We danced the Mamushka for Jack the Ripper. And now, Fester Addams, this Mamushka is for you!
The Addams Family was originally a series which was made into a film at the beginning of the 90s, featuring Raul Julia, Angelica Houston, Christina Ricci (still a little girl at this time) and the talented Christopher Lloyd, whom I'll see tomorrow in Brussels, since he's a special guest for the BIFFF (Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival). If you want to join me, just send me a message. I like Christopher Lloyd a lot because he's one of the best actors I know; I saw him in many of my favourite movies, from Back to the Future (as Doc Brown) to Who Freaked Roger Rabbit (Judge Doom) to Dennis the Menace.
I'm definitely in love with the freaky, spoofy atmosphere of the film. And because you're friends, I'll show you another extract, but from the second Addams movie, The Addams Family Values, in which Fester is seduced by… a black widow, Debbie Jelinsky (Joan Cusack). The fragment is in French (that's quite rare to find one on YouTube); notice Fester/Fétide's dubbing voice, Pierre Hatet, great French actor. I love his performance.
