Greece: Day 2

On our first day in Greece, we got to visit the well-known Parthenon and the Acropolis. A huge heap of rocks and old stuff being rebuilded quite slowly. While climbing, we saw this old Greek (!) theatre which got renovated a couple of years ago, so that old plays could be played as it was meant to back in that time. The sound quality is exceptional, as they say.

We continued our way up to the top of the Acropolis, and we finally passed though remains of an impressive gate to enter a open-air (obviously) place at the feet of the Temple, which you can see below (I think that, one year later, it didn't change much), as well as the beautiful carven Caryatids by Phidias (if I remember it well).
