Blast from the Past

Can you believe it? Snow? In Belgium? Yes. But it was two years ago, on 27 February 2005. This view was taken from the window at the front of my house, in Aubel. The garden and the trees are snow-covered. It would be unrealistic, over-optimistic and naive to believe that such a layer of snow will ever fall on Belgium. It's more likely to snow on the beach than where I live… At yet, we're at 300m over the sea.
