Coastal Tramways

The Belgian (Flemish) coast is known for its tramways—which underwent a modernization lately, so that they are longer and can sit more and more "white heads" (i.e. old people). (Everything is new in Flanders; while Wallonia is rather derelict, as if we were still in the 1950s.) This view was taken in front of the Middelkerke Casino.

AAGGH!! OLD PEOPLE ON TRAMS!!

I loathe it!

The annoying thing is that they can ride trams and busses for free! That means, that the poor, starving university students has to pay more for a ticket, in order to compensate the loss! AND we have to give our seat up to the 95 year olds!

Fear not, Flanders is NOT the Land of Milk and Honey!
